Pirates of the caribbean NEWS

The end? or not.....

So, the crew leaves Jack and Gibbs behind taking the Pearl. Jack ends up how we were introduced to him in curse of the black pearl, in a small boat looking for a new adventure.

First of all, what becomes of Gibbs? He's not on the small boat with Jack and defanitley not on The Pearl? There was no closure to his character if this really is the end.

Second of all, POTC 4 or not? Yes, AWE is supposed to be the end of a trilogy but, Jack Sparrow takes the middle of the map that's aboard the Pearl, he's betrayed them now, so a new battle to come ?

Also, Jack shows interest in the Fountain of Youth, a new adventure for Jack Sparrow on the way? Or maybe not, since the compass does not point anywhere when he tries for the fountain of youth. Or has Jack concluded rum is what he wants the most when the compass points to the rum. Is that his destiny?

But, 10 years later has been shown after the credits

I haven't decided if I see some of these things as a misinteperated conclusion due to me. A hope or clue for a POTC4 or a poorly conclusion of charcters. Got any opinions, agreements, disgreements, or other ideas bobbling around in your heads? postttt 'em I was see what other people interperated at the end of this movie.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4 to Follow Captain Jack’s Search For Atlantis?
Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly are on course for a fourth Pirates Of The Caribbean movie, according to the film's writer.

Terry Rossio reveals plans are afoot to make another sequel for the hit franchise but fans may have to wait a few years to see it.

After making sequels two and three back to back, Rossio feels sure Depp and company will get the chance to ditch their sea legs for a while before returning for a fourth installment.

He tells movie news website MovieHole.net, "It's like the fourth Indiana Jones picture - there are forces in play to make it happen, and forces in play to make it not happen.

"I think we will try to write a screenplay. I can't say if we'll be able to solve the challenge of making a good fourth film, or if our screenplay will be enough to get a film made."
Releases: Pirates 4, Spider-Man 4, Shrek 4, Harry Potter 7, James Bond 23, Green Hornet
Variety has an interesting article on the scheduling of the upcoming summer tentpoles for the next three years. The article claims that Sony Pictures will announce a Summer 2010 release date for the 23rd James Bond film. The next Bond film, tentatively titled Bond 22, will go into production later this year aiming for a November 7th 2008 release.
The article also says that Sony will nab a Summer 2009 release date for Green Hornet. And 2010 is starting to look a lot like this Summer: very crowded. Potentially Pirates of the Caribbean 4, Spider-Man 4, Shrek 4, and Harry Potter 7 could be just some of the big blockbuster movies filling the slate.
Johnny Depp has told Disney that he would be willing to return for a fourth Pirates of the Caribbean, but now word comes that director Gore Verbinski (who helmed the three previous films) is uninterested in helming the project.
They just finished the first part of the script now there working on writing the middle.
